Background

Mark Etem is a product leader focused on AI, operations, and decision‑support systems. He currently serves as Lead Product Manager for Workforce AI at Aya Healthcare, where he leads products that help healthcare organizations optimize staffing and workforce operations.
Previously, he worked in product strategy and innovation consulting at Accenture / Fjord, helping organizations including ING, Bayer, Takeda, and General Mills develop new products, services, and digital experiences.
Mark holds a Master's degree in International Affairs with a focus on Asia‑Pacific security from the University of California, San Diego and a Bachelor's degree from New York University. He also serves as a U.S. Navy Reserve Intelligence Officer.
Professional interests: artificial intelligence, autonomy, intelligence, enterprise software, and defense technology. Outside of work — mountain biking, aviation, and travel.
